ModNation Racers is a PlayStation 3 exclusive Kart Racing game featuring all the track-based driving and comic combat players cherish in the genre, blended with extreme customization and user generated content expected of a modern online multiplayer title. In it players can expect exceptional kart handling and physics technology, including drifting, jumps and boosting and easy to master customization options covering in-game racers, their karts and the tracks that are raced on.

The setting of the game is set in the 3D environment where the player can move from a third-person perspective with an aim to eliminate all rival drivers before the end of the race or cross the finish line before anyone to win. The game becomes challenging to play as the player advances through it. Crazy Chicken: Kart 2 includes prominent features, engaging gameplay, superb graphics, and brilliant mechanics.

The game differs from other traditional Kart racer games because of its main focus on co-op gameplay. In the game, the player serves as the part of a team of racers with an objective to win races through efficiency, instead of speed. There are three modes, such as Time Trials, Story-driven, and Competition. It is a Sonic the Hedgehog-themed Kart racing game introducing both single-player and multiplayer modes.
After choosing one of fifteen characters from the cast, the player can take part in races using the cars on courses based on locations from the franchise.
The game has three types of racing classes such as Technique, Speed, and Power. It serves as the fourth main installment in the Sega Superstar series with offering the same gameplay to the last releases.
Throughout the gameplay, the player needs to race against other players and tries to be the champion. The game comes up with 20 characters and three different modes where the player gets control on different vehicles, such as boat mode, plane mode, and car game mode. In the car mode, the player can perform drifts and car stunts to earn points; boat mode allows the player to control the boat as turbulence. In contrast, the plane mode permits the player to move freely in the air horizontally or vertically.
The player must collect star tokens during the race to earn random bonuses and score high. The game also offers career mode and world tour mode that allows the player to complete a series of events and enhance the performance.
